NIPA Accelerates Korea–Japan Digital Collaboration at Japan IT Week Autumn 2025
50 Korean Software Companies Record Over USD 160 Million in Business Consultations
TOKYO, JP / ACCESS Newswire / November 3, 2025 / The National IT Industry Promotion Agency (NIPA), a public agency under the Ministry of Science and ICT of the Republic of Korea, successfully concluded its participation in Japan IT Week Autumn 2025, held from October 22 to 24 at Makuhari Messe, Chiba, Japan. Through the operation of the KOREA NIPA Pavilion, NIPA showcased 50 leading Korean software and ICT companies and achieved significant outcomes, including USD 310,000 in signed export contracts, 25 MOUs, and 1,383 business consultations valued at approximately USD 163 million.

Among the participating companies, two achieved notable cross-border agreements.
Digitalog Technologies Co., Ltd. (Korea) and Maverick Inc. (Japan) signed an MOU for joint marketing and localization of AI-based marketing solutions, as well as broader business collaboration in Japan.
F1 Security Co., Ltd. (Korea) and COCOA Inc. (Japan) entered into a partnership focused on web security and B2B digital infrastructure cooperation.
The Pavilion featured companies in AI, SaaS, and digital transformation, creating a unified platform to demonstrate Korea's technological competitiveness. Firms such as Polaris Office, STC Lab, OpenSurvey, and WINS Technet engaged with Japanese buyers, investors, and partners to explore long-term collaboration opportunities.
On the opening day, NIPA hosted the Korea-Japan Digital Cooperation Seminar at the Hotel New Otani Makuhari, co-organized with Japan's Information-technology Promotion Agency (IPA) and Japan External Trade Organization (JETRO). The seminar provided a venue for in-depth discussions on Japan's digital transformation trends and cross-border cooperation in the software and public technology sectors.

Building on the success of Japan IT Week Autumn 2025, NIPA plans to expand follow-up initiatives such as online matchmaking, investor engagement, and localized support to help Korean software firms achieve sustainable export growth and strategic partnerships in the Japanese market.
